Tuesday, March 30th

Within the past week, we met up to complete the 1st draft of the lesson summary and also the complete lesson powerpoint.

We re-used our idea from the initial mini presentation which was the teaching of the NAPFA Five Stations , and focusing on Standing Broad Jump. We refined the idea to suit the final presentation requirements and re-thought mainly our objectives and activities. This has been finalised and put into the drafts.

We started by going through the original lesson plan in point form and brainstorming the activities and the pedagogies and concepts that go along with them.

Following this, we put this lesson plan as a write-up into word form to complete the first draft of the lesson summary which is part of the project requirements.

Our main ICT tools that we will be using are the SmartBoard, Facebook, Tablet PCs and Videos. The context of this lesson will be on the whole a 10 week NAPFA Five Stations improvement lesson, and the Standing Broad Jump segment will take up 2 periods out of 10.

We then decided on the lesson outline as a collective and then worked to elaborate the activities that we will include in the lesson, and how long each activity should take. Then, we split the task of putting the lesson plans into concrete ideas into the 1st period and 2nd period. Yongkai and Ariff did the 1st lesson, Landy and Gerald did the 2nd. Once that was completed, we put it into powerpoint form.

At the end of this week, we have roughly completed our group project. What remains to be done is re editing the powerpoint and lesson summary, decorating the power point, and also rehearsing the presentation
